I am speaking to the individual who puts others’ needs before their own. Being a mother or spouse lends itself to putting the oxygen mask on the people we care for, before we think about our own health. Compassion and self-sacrifice are notable qualities. But when we find ourselves in our 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, even 70’s, and we realize that we are tired and worn down with these health issues… And we don’t want to live this way anymore, then what? You’ve tried over-the-counters, you’ve tried prescription drugs, you’ve gone to doctors… You’ve changed your diet… And yet, you are still struggling. “Oh, I’m getting older” you say to yourself. Does that mean it’s set in stone? You think “Everyone deals with these symptoms, right?” Do they?? “It’s genetics.” Is it??? Epigenetics has proven in the research, that we can turn genes on and off based on what we are eating.
I meet so many clients in my practice who start a program with me, and then something comes up that is seemingly more important, or more important to their spouse. Their health takes a back seat. They are back in a year or two and we start over. I completely understand. I totally get it. But I’m concerned about how our society views women, and how women view themselves. How we think we aren’t important enough to spend money on ourselves to improve how we physically feel. We have to change our mindset. YOU are important. YOU are worth it. It is time for YOU to take back your health. It is time for YOU to feel better. Change these statements to ‘I’ statements and say them to yourself in the mirror every day until you begin to believe it. I am important! I am worth it! It is time for ME to take back MY HEALTH! I am going to feel BETTER! This is not selfish. Loving others means you have to love yourself too. You are part of that concept of ‘loving others’. If you have a family, kids, spouse, and pets, how are you going to fully care for them and keep that household or a business thriving, if you are not feeling 100%. Do you want to just sort-of-make-it through life, or do you want to thrive? You might think you feel “okay”. It’s not terrible, right? Most people are living in mediocre land, and have no idea how good they could truly feel. Once you are physically and mentally feeling really good, you’re never going to want to go back to feeling mediocre. I can help restore your body. I am here to help you FEEL BETTER!
