I wasn’t going to write this blog, as most of my clients have already contacted me on what to take to boost immunity when they are feeling symptomatic. And it’s spring, so I figured we were out of the woods for the most part. I am finding that clients are still getting sick, and with the muscle testing, I have found 15 different new uncategorized immune challenges since last August. Last August and September I found two resonances, so I just starting numbering them. I have since found 13 more since the beginning of December. These are not C-related. In addition, I just had a client tell me her dad tested for Influenza-A and she and her husband got sick right after with similar symptoms. She mentioned she’s heard of several people who have tested positive for it recently. So we’re going to talk about this again.
I do like to test clients when they are not feeling well, and we can often help you feel better more quickly. I am not an MD, and nothing in this blog is intended to diagnose or treat. If you are very sick and need medical attention, please go to urgent care or see your PCP. These are not medications, they are simply whole food supplements to feed the immune organs which in turn gives the body the nutrients it’s been blowing through, as it is trying to heal. These replenish. Let’s go over a few different supplementations that can really help with the immune system in a variety of ways and I’ll try to differentiate these so that if these resonances don’t go away, or if they come back next fall, you’ll be prepared for it and you’ll know what you can try initially. Definitely text me so I can muscle test more specifically what will help you feel better more quickly. I apologize for my own health and not being able to test all of you this winter. Forgive me. I do seem to be improving, so don’t hesitate to contact me if anything comes up this spring, summer, or fall. This past winter, we’ve had the upper respiratory symptoms that might start in the sinuses and then seem to head straight for the chest. In this case the following supplements could help. If you are vomiting, obviously don’t take any pills (homeopathics might work better). The gastrointestinal symptoms only seem to be lasting a couple days anyway. The following are what clients have tested for since beginning of December for the uncategorized resonances: Congaplex – sinus congestion, blowing out yellow or green, post nasal drip down throat, can also help with chest congestion to a certain degree. If blowing out green, take 1-2 capsules every 30mins, then reduce to 1-2 capsules every hour, then 12 per day (more or less as needed, 2-3 at a time) Immuplex – supports all of the immune organs and glands including thymus, spleen, and liver, both with extracts of all 3 as well as PMG’s of all 3 which means that it will literally give your body T-cells, which is like offering a shipment of guns/ammo/supplies to the war effort every time you take it. It also contains iron which can help give you a little boost of energy while you’re fighting things off. Typical dose is 7-9 per day when symptoms are worse (2-3 at a time). Immuplex is also a mini multivitamin & mineral; definitely replenishes the body. Fen-Gre - fenugreek thins the mucus. Best to take Fen-Gre with a full glass of water (8oz). Fenugreek needs water to get into solution. If your bowels tolerate it, take as much as you can until your skin begins to smell of maple syrup. When this happens, it means your tissues are saturated with the mucus thinning properties and your chest and sinuses will thank you for it. You can take 6-9+ a day to help with the chest congestion. Pulmonest – liquid herbal tincture that is more gentle on the bowels than the Fen-Gre. Typical dosing is 30-40 drops 3-4 times a day. And don’t forget the flu resonance protocol – these 2 supplements working together are a powerful combo: Cataplex AC (8-12 per day) Antronex (6-9 per day) Cataplex AC is high in vitamin C and echinacea in just the right ratio to get that echinacea into the body more efficiently. It also has other immune supporting ingredients for this particular immune challenge. I always have Cataplex AC and Antronex in my medicine cabinet for flu season. If you notice that this combo doesn’t help you feel better for the first couple days, then it’s likely not the right protocol for your immune challenge. Also, remember that when you just begin to notice that you might be coming down with something, try this little trick. For most of you I probably sound like a broken record on this one, but take a handful of Antronex, like 5-6 all at once and see if you can flush it out of the liver. This does occasionally work! Some people find they can kick it before it fully takes hold. Once you’ve been sick a while, this isn’t going to work. If you begin coughing up yellow or green, do the Fen-Gre, Pulmonest and add in something like Broncafect or PulmaCo or ResCo (just one of those 3 MediHerb’s would be plenty). Most do very well with the Broncafect. If you are gluten-free, then the Immuplex, Antronex, Fen-Gre, Pulmonest and any Mediherb like the Broncafect, PulmaCo, or ResCo are wonderful options for you. One other thing that I do want to make a note of is that I had one client start taking 3 drops of the concentrated elderberry tincture (herbal not syrup) from Painted Outlaw Ranch (formerly Walker Farms), and she hardly got sick this winter. When she did, it lasted briefly and very few light symptoms. Might be something to look into next year, or even now for prevention. Vitamin D3 - I would still be taking higher doses of Vitamin D3 + K2, 5,000-10,000 IU’s of D3 until you’re out in sun more, and the sun is higher in the sky. Then you can probably drop it down to 2,500-5,000 IU’s. If you have an immune condition of longer standing, then you would likely stay on the 10,000 IU’s regardless of how much sun you get. Depends on the person. Some can go off it completely in the summer. Remember Vitamin D2 is not the same – steer clear of D2 supplementation in processed foods or milk or milk alternatives. Vitamin K2 is often necessary for absorption, along with taking it with a meal that contains fat. Taking a little bit of zinc and whole food Vitamin C can be helpful along with the D3 to support the immune system and for prevention. Ascorbic acid should not be taken indefinitely and is not whole food C. It can however be taken at the onset of symptoms to acidify tissue so immune challenges decide they don’t want to stay. If you become symptomatic, “up” the zinc and C and D3, and consider one of these other options to flush it out more quickly. Remember, these are clinical findings. I’m not reading what other doctors are doing or finding this past winter. I am simply muscle testing my own clients, and I listen to their body and I find what I find. Biofeedback. I didn’t go digging for this. I have a handful of clients who test for other things. Everyone is usually different. However…so many of us have tested for the Congaplex and the Immuplex this winter. It’s truly remarkable that most of us are all testing for the same supplements. This winter reminded me very much of the 2019/2020 winter. Hoping these immune challenges will “dissipate” soon! What should we call this year’s stuffy nose and upper respiratory congestion immune challenge? How about SNURCIC (pronounced snur’-kik). Sounds fitting, as we KICK this thing to the curb!
You know I’m not an MD, so I can’t legally give recommendations for the immune challenge that comes around every year in a new and varied form about this time November…December…. And what I do with muscle testing is not a diagnostic tool. If you need to absolutely know for sure, then go to urgent care and have them check for it. But you know which immune challenge I’m talking about. So many people are getting it, so it is time for a new blog for a new year. The only thing the medical community has for this is Tamiflu…and the side effects that go along with that can make you feel like you have the abdominal vomiting version. SNURCIC is a real doozer this year. And there is not just one strain (found 2 so far). Let’s look at a simple protocol to root out the cause and help you feel better more quickly. I, personally took this on day one, and I was better in 2 days. If I hadn’t, I am positive I would’ve ended up like everyone else with the upper respiratory lung and bronchial involvement, and a cough that lasts for weeks. Here it ‘tis for winter ‘22-23, the SNURCIC protocol: Cataplex AC 8-15 per day Antronex 6-10 per day (Both Standard Process) That’s it! That is all you need usually. Spread it out into 3 doses, daily. If you let it go too long before starting the SNURCIC protocol, and end up with a bad cough, then you may need these additional remedies: Pulmonest (MarcoPharma) 30-40 drops 3-4 times a day (in 4-8 ounces of water) – clears the mucus out of the lungs and bronchi. Fen-Gre (Standard Process) 3-6 per day (watch bowels, most people are constipated so taking this much fenugreek is fine, however if you’re like me, I had to limit it) – fenugreek thins mucus secretions in the sinuses, lungs, and bronchi. Congaplex (Standard Process) 3-6 per day (if your nose starts running, back off on this one) – for sinuses and stuffy nose, also contains a little bit of Cataplex AC. The reason I use Standard Process so much, especially in cases like this, is because it heals the body so quickly. Some have needed additional Zinc, Rose hips, Iodine, Quercetin, GOLD, or Broncafect because they didn’t call me when they first began having symptoms and ended up really sick. If you have the high spiking fever with this, you can take Feverfew or Calcium Lactate to bring it down to a manageable range. A low grade fever can be a good thing to work through once a year, as it will detox you from some of the junk you came into contact with this past year. Remember Cataplex AC and Antronex are whole food. You can’t really over-dose on them. They are nutrition to help heal the body and support the immune system. Cataplex AC is the perfect ratio of echinacea and vitamin C to help push the Echinacea in. Antronex is a liver fat extract that flushes the immune challenge out of the liver/gallbladder where it likes to hang out. If these two are taken upon onset of symptoms, often you can handle it pretty quickly. I’ve tried piecing together echinacea and vitamin C to replace the Cataplex AC and it never works as well. Why? Because there is more in Cataplex AC than just those 2 ingredients. I’ve had people take a handful of Antronex at first onset of symptoms, like 6 of them in one sitting, and it completely flushes it out before it can take hold! One last thought… if you are sick, stay home and rest! Everyone is getting sick, and it’s just common courtesy to get better before you rejoin the work group, the school group, or touching things and putting them back at the grocery store. [If you are celiac, you won’t want to take Cataplex AC as it does contain a minute amount of gluten. I recommend either Viranon as a replacement at 6-8 per day, or try the homeopathic blend called Flu-Tone, 1 dropper periodically throughout the day when it feels like the prior dose is wearing off.] Contact our office to stock up, because sooner or later SNURCIC will be knocking at your door! And remember, when you are unwell, that is the time to give us a call so we can help you feel better! Flu season is in full swing the past 2 weeks!
The length of time you spend in bed, can be greatly reduced by supporting the body’s natural immune and drainage responses. Did you know that nutrition can bang those symptoms out in no time? There is no need to be sick longer than a couple days, and these supplements can help to boost your immune system to handle these situations QUICKLY. There are several homeopathics to help with these symptoms, but this round of it, people seem to be doing well with: OSCILLOCOCCINUM (big word, I know) – sometimes I take a full vial or I might take in smaller doses. I take it any time I’m feeling crappy again. This one is GREAT for kids, because they are sweet tiny pellets. They can’t choke on them, and they taste like SUGAR! |
